This is my first hat using this construction. As I have finished the 3rd leaf I notice the center of the hat is lower than the edges of the hat. Is this correct? Thank you. Margo

You shouldn't have that dip in the middle, no... I'm going to need to think about what's not right, but it's possible that the short rows to the left of the leaves haven't been worked to the correct marker? Because at this point, the Hat should be a rectangle!
Another common issue that crops up is working the short rows on the last stitch of the stitch count, instead of on the stitch after the specified number of stitches have been worked, but I don't think that's the case here, as the dip wouldn't be as consistent.
Let me check the pattern chart again, but in the meantime can you confirm which marker you were working the short rows on the left side of the Hat too? Were you perhaps counting the markers on the WS the other way round?
