Azula Compagne – knitting pattern

$10.00

Azula Compagne is the companion to Woolly’s incredibly popular Azula Hat pattern. Featuring short row colourwork and worked sideways in panels, this pattern will love just about any yarn combination you care to throw together!

Within each pattern you’ll find instructions for a Regular Cowl, an Over-Sized Cowl, and a Scarf. Two sizes are provided for each, and given their construction, they’re highly customisable and you’ll find notes included for that.

Cowl/Scarf Description

Azula Compagne is a sideways knit cowl or scarf in garter stitch. It uses short row colourwork to create the look of flames all around that grow from one edge.

About our Compagne patterns

Introducing the 'Flat Out Woolly' range - a collaboration between Tom Paterson and Woolly Wormhead! With this range Tom cleverly turns popular designs by his partner, Woolly, from 3D Hat form into matching accessories. These designs are available exclusively from, and published by, Woolly Wormhead.

Each pattern is a short workshop in PDF format. Each pattern is carefully developed and every effort is made to ensure that the instructions are as clear as possible. In addition, the patterns are all multi-sized, professionally edited, and professionally photographed. These patterns will not only teach you how to create your own beautiful knitted cowl or scarf, but will also teach you new skills and improve your knitting knowledge!

With each purchase you will receive an email with a download link to the primary PDF. The primary PDF includes the instructions to make the items as well as links to in-depth photographic tutorials and where available, supporting videos. These educational resources are provided to guide you through each technique so that you can learn new skills as you make your cosy accessories, all at your own pace. There is also live support available via our forum, where we can answer any questions and provide help where needed.

Once payment clears you’ll receive an email with the download link and instructions - do check your Spam folder if it doesn't arrive promptly. The link will expire after 5 downloads. For further help with downloading and storing files, please visit our FAQ page.

All tutorials, workshops and knitting patterns are colour-blind, neurodivergent, low-bandwidth and printer friendly. The standard PDF format is compact, with succinct and clear instructions that don't use colour beyond the photos on the front and back pages. In addition, some patterns are also available in an LVA format, that is large print and suitable for screen-readers. To see examples of how the patterns are laid out and presented, and please visit the pattern sample page.
