Chiral – knitting pattern

$10.00

Chiral introduces an element of asymmetry to the Lateralis construction with leaves adorning just one end of each of the distinctive arches. This gives it a more organic feel, while still providing balance and perfect geometric harmony.

Featuring short row colourwork, each of the Lateralis Hats is knit sideways and grafted. Unlike other sideways knit Hats, these patterns aren’t constructed from panels, and they will lead you on an altogether different adventure. Different sizes are acgieved by adjusting your gauge. Available as a single pattern or as part of the Lateralis collection.

Hat Description

Chiral is a close fitting beanie which is knit sideways in garter stitch. It uses short row colourwork to create a large motif of three nested arched stems with leaves at one end in a contrast colour. The motif is mirrored on both side of the Hat. It has a dome-like shape, which is different from a classic beanie.
