Circled 1 – knitting pattern
$10.00
This Hat features offset arcs. An arc is a section of the circumference, and in this case, the arcs are two-thirds of the circumference. Each arc is offset by one-third of the circumference, and each arc is at equal spacing from each other, all the way from the centre of the crown. What these arcs create is a maze like pattern throughout the Hats, and it’s quite compelling to follow the lines and see where they lead you. Circled #1 is the first pattern from the Circled collection.
This pattern is available individually, or as part of the Circled collection eBook.
Hat Description
Circled 1 is a slightly slouchy beanie. It’s worked flat, with a background of garter stitch. The design features arcs, created by lines of slipped stitches, that are each two thirds of the circumference. The arcs are equidistant vertically and each is offset horizontally by a third of the circumference, creating movement around the Hat.

Tamara –
This was a wonderful challenge for my (solid) intermediate skills but my grandniece wanted this hat and no other. The pattern is clear, straightforward and accurate.
It taught me to knit a hat sidewise! I learned a new way to cast on and to graft.
Great value, thank you, Woolly Wormhead!
