Contoura – knitting pattern
$10.00
Contoura is a Hat designed around short rows. The Hat is worked in sections that rotate and turn, creating a striking architectural finish. The pattern is ideally suited to gradient yarns and/or coordinating oddments of the same yarn weight.
Hat Description
Contoura is a slouchy beanie worked from the bottom up. It starts with a twisted rib brim and the body and crown are worked in stocking stitch. The pattern throughout is one of short row stripes, alternating with rows of single chain stitches. Each short row stripe is wedge shaped, creating an asymmetrical look to the whole Hat. The stripes continue into the crown, which is gently gathered.
