Kabouter – knitting pattern
$10.00
Kabouter is the Dutch word for elf or gnome, and describes this Hat perfectly! A deep garter stitch Brim feeds into a stylised pixie Crown with cables running up the side of the Hat. Topped with an I-cord, Kabouter is full of whimsy. Worked in the round and bottom up, this Hat is provided in 4 sizes. Available as a single pattern or as part of the Playful Woolly Toppers collection.
Hat Description
Kabouter is a tall pixie Hat with a deep garter stitch brim. The body and brim are worked in different colours. The body and crown have distinct rope cables up each side that gradually taper into the crown point. The front and back of the Hat are worked in reverse stocking stitch. It is finished with a small I-cord loop at the point.
