Lamitra – knitting pattern
$10.00
While bias knitting is particularly suited to variegated yarn, Lamitra’s eyelet rows set against a smooth stocking stitch ground are equally eye-catching in a solid. The full gathers at the crown only add to the spiral effect. Available either as a single pattern or as part of the Painted Woolly Toppers collection.
Hat Description
Lamitra is a sideways knit slouchy Hat worked on the bias with a garter stitch brim. The body sees stripes of eyelets bordered by purl ridges against a stocking stitch background. The bias effect makes them travel diagonally to the left. It has a gently gathered crown.
