Lenina – knitting pattern
$10.00
Featuring an unusual construction, this Hat starts as a series of panels which are later joined with a 3-needle Bind-off. Previously published in the book ‘Brave New Knits’, this sideways knit Hat is now available to purchase individually.
Hat Description
Lenina is a cabled Hat worked sideways, which means that the cables run horizontally around the Hat. Each panel is worked separately and joined, creating architectural lines that punctuate the cables, reaching from the brim to the crown. Due to the short row shaping there’s a gentle swirl at the crown where the panel seams meet.
