Featuring short row garter stitch stripes, Misura is a design that makes the most of the properties of sideways knitting. A deep garter stitch brim forms a snug ribbed band, from which the garter stitch stripes extend. The pattern is easily adjusted for different sizes by working more or fewer panels.
Hat Description
Misura is a sideways knit slouchy beanie in two colours. The brim is garter stitch and is in the main colour. The body is in stocking stitch, in the second colour. The pattern on the Hat is of alternating stripes of single row purl ridges in the brim colour. They alternate long and short, with the long ones reaching all the way into the crown and the short ones the same depth as the brim. As the long stripes come into the crown they converge. The Hat is topped by a pompom in the brim colour.
