Parallelo – knitting pattern
$10.00
Sideways-knit Hats encourage playing with colour, and Parallelo is a great starting point to explore the short-row colourwork technique. Mix and match the panels as desired to create a Hat with more or fewer contrast lines – it’s an ideal stashbuster and enormous fun to work! With this construction, sizing is achieved through gauge alone, so be sure to swatch carefully and choose the right needle size.
Hat Description
Parallelo is a beanie worked sideways, with short rows for shaping. It has a single colour brim. There are stripes up the body of the Hat that alternate between tall and short all the way around, worked in the same colour as the brim. None of the stripes reach the crown, which is fitted.
