The stitches add shape while the 4ply yarn ensures there is no bulk which makes this a year round Hat to knit and wear. Hat Description
Sumner is a fitted beanie with a deep folded stocking stitch brim. Throughout the body and crown it has a concentric circle pattern which is created by knitted tucks (welts) in reverse stocking stitch against a stocking stitch background. The circles get smaller all the way into the crown.
